Review on BIC America FH6 LCR 6 5 Inch Frequency by Mike Hernandez

Owned since January 2016. Installation: optical out from samsung tv to creative gx6 then optical to sms repeater to two of them in the corners of a large one living room for a stereo television. The horn tweeter and sealed enclosure on top recreate the magic of much more expensive speakers. I have already tried to update them twice. First to a pair of Axiom m60 ($1500). The floor-standing m60 couldn't beat the FH6 LCRs installed in the corner of the living room. The second failed upgrade was a Martin Logan 4i in the corner. Once again the ribbon tweeter sounded good and even cleaner but smaller. They didn't fill the room with vocals and highs like this one. The soundstage was also 1/3 smaller than the fh6-lcr. For example, the unconnected song Heaven 03:57 by Brian Adam has woodwinds in the background. With these cheap speakers I can hear the woodwinds filling the room. The 4i's are barely audible here and only noticed because I know they're there. My main complaint is that these $100 speakers are so good I can't find any in-wall speakers that really beat them. So of course I need BIC America to come out with this similar design but somehow clearly approved at a price somewhere between $500 and $1500.
