To be honest I haven't managed to heat anything so can't tell you much about it. However! On a cold setting - I haven't even put cold drinks in here before. I put cans of Pepsi in here at room temperature and this kid almost chilled them to ICE. I will say that even when I tried to set the temperature it was a little difficult. No matter what I pressed, he just blinked the same numbers at me. Obviously not much fits in - I put 6 regular soda cans in. A divider shelf is included in the kit but I don't think it was necessary. Works great and cools down quicker than I expected (not within minutes but after 10-30 minutes I could already tell the difference. The longer you leave it on the more it cools down. I'm sure it's also for Warming up works, there's even a car charger for the same cigarette lighter if you want to use it in a vehicle, which I thought was pretty handy for car trips or truckers!
