This works very well to protect my Brinno time lapse camera. The camera fits perfectly. I keep it outdoors at my work stations and mount it on a tree, telephone pole or tripod. The tripod mount works well. There was heavy rain, wind and snow, the camera was not damaged. The case is easy to open. In fact, the camera can be removed without removing it from the mount if I attach it to a tree or pole with a simple screw in the camera mount. This makes it convenient to change batteries or the SD card without having to unscrew it from the tree. When using the tripod mount I have to detach it from the tripod to open it, but that's not a problem as I just snap it back on. The buttons make it easy to control camera functions while it is in the case. I was very happy that they have a solution that I don't have to worry about my camera outside.
