Good Single AA LED Spotlight (Review Update)

Review Update October 2020 I can't say enough good things about this light. I had the opportunity to use it during a long power outage due to Hurricane Zeta. It worked perfectly. It's lightweight due to a single battery and with a 2 LED spot it was the perfect lighting level for household chores like washing dishes by hand without electricity. A battery in headlight mode was enough for about 4 hours (i.e. for 2 evening uses). The headlight at high frequencies was roughly equivalent in range and pattern to a Minimag LED with 2 AA cells (not Pro or Pro+). In fact, the high was too bright to use indoors. Great power to buy from! Get that and 12 AA packs and you should be set for a few days of blackouts. Yes, I understand that headlights are going out of style, but in this case, function is king. ***** Original Review ***** This is exactly as advertised. It uses one AA battery. It has 3 high/low spot beam modes and 2 side spot beams. First, the brightness of the spot rays. It turns on when you press the button above for the first time. So if you want to turn on the brightest mode, press twice. At maximum it's not as bright as the Luxpro LP100 (100 lumens) but still a very good flashlight with good range and range. It can be used on both high and low settings. The wide headlight setting is useful for short-distance walking. You cannot activate both modes at the same time, so you must choose one. It's very light, and even more so with a lithium battery. Operating time approx. 1 hour maximum. Apparently the limited runtime is due to only having one AA battery, not a design flaw. The quality corresponds to the price. It seems to have decent pads to be waterproof against the occasional moisture. Overall a decent flashlight for $7.
