I can't wait to use CAMPING

I love how light this headlamp is and that it runs on AA batteries. Because mine is rechargeable. It was a lot brighter than I expected when I first received it. Overall I highly recommend this headlamp and I can't wait to use it camping.

Little wonder. I love her.

Gives solid light from ONE AA battery! This is not usually possible as LEDs require at least 2.4 volts and an AA battery is half the size. This cheap and lightweight headlamp uses a "Joule Thief" circuit that pumps a lower voltage to a higher voltage. This is great for two reasons. First, a cell weighs much less. Less than an ounce on my head. Second, you now have the use of that box of half-depleted AA batteries. (A lot of electronic devices stop working when the battery is dead, but not dead.

Not bad for flashlights and hands-free headlamps

This is a 120 lumen LED headlamp. Runs on one AA battery (not included). Held on the forehead with an elasticated headband for hands-free use. Can be tilted from horizontal to 45 degrees, giving you a variety of lighting angles. I haven't changed the battery since installing it (over a month) and they claim it can power an LED for 100,000 hours (not yet). Has 3 lighting modes: Normal. Bright. Side light - when you long press the button. Now the light intensity of the headlights is good at…

I love it, it's sexy.

Well I definitely didn't buy it on this site because of the manufacturer's grammar. There's just something I love about this headlamp. Maybe it's the price. 2 headlights for $11 and change. It looks a bit heavy on the head because it's a bit longer than the forehead, so it sticks out. The button feels really good, easy to find, easy to press, and comfortable to press. I like the color and I like the name. This is a basic headlamp with just 2 normal settings and a special wider light setting…

Good value for money flashlights and headlamps Hands Free

This is a good headlamp for the money. It comes with a nice case that I use for batteries etc. It draws 50 to 70 mA at low power. At high power approx. 160 mA. The third option lets two unfocused LEDs shine on the sides. They offer wider and more even illumination, but do not come with savings in power consumption. They draw about 160mA as the high focus option. I use the low focus option for most applications, but switch to the high focus option when I need strong light. I use 1.25 Ni-MH…

Insanely good price

Damn impressed! This lamp is an example of affordable functionality. This is not a flamethrower, this light is more optimized for usable performance and long battery life. Originally I was looking for a flashlight that could be hidden in car emergency kits for myself and some friends. The priorities were: a headlamp, hands free to change a tire or whatever, 1 AA battery, better availability, and 1/3 AAA cost per dollar per watt. Focus on lower power and longer runtime compared to a flamethrower

Good Single AA LED Spotlight (Review Update)

Review Update October 2020 I can't say enough good things about this light. I had the opportunity to use it during a long power outage due to Hurricane Zeta. It worked perfectly. It's lightweight due to a single battery and with a 2 LED spot it was the perfect lighting level for household chores like washing dishes by hand without electricity. A battery in headlight mode was enough for about 4 hours (i.e. for 2 evening uses). The headlight at high frequencies was roughly equivalent in range and

Amazing light for the price

I bought one of these for a small camping survival kit I make. The light is way nicer than expected, and the case that comes with it is pretty darn cool. It's small, light, and runs on a single AA battery (I can't say enough about using one AA battery instead of three AAA batteries). Since it comes with a backup/survival kit, I use an Energizer lithium battery so it lasts a very long time or can be used in cold weather without fear of it running out of power when I need it. The case is a big…
