This product is a great product and well worth the extra money compared to cheaper OBD2 scanners. First let me say that I own a 2006 GMC Sierra. Results from these scanners may vary by vehicle make. I've only used it on my car and a 2008 Honda Accord that I made a video of. Although this product is worth the money. Connected to my car easily, quickly and error-free by following the instructions in the manual. The product is easy to use and was able to read the error codes instantly with a clear understanding of what was wrong with my car, provide quick information about the error codes and remove the codes very easily. The on-screen menu layout is very easy to understand and I had no trouble figuring out how to do what I needed to do. Also, the ability to run tests like the EVAP sensor test makes it worth the money. Not all sensors are continuously tested and must be running for your computer to test and display error codes. This is extremely useful for Californians doing smog testing as you may have to drive about 50 miles (about $10 in my truck) for these sensors to work once the codes are cleared. I learned this the hard way a few years ago. There is also the ability to read live information from the vehicle's computer, including battery voltage, with a graphical display, which can be extremely helpful when diagnosing to find a problem that is occurring due to error codes that appear when it is a signal from the PCM when something is wrong. It's nowhere near as good as the manufacturer's diagnostic computers, but at $40 it's a lot more than I expected and still does a lot of the same things. Where else can you get a reader that can display battery voltage and lots of other PIDS data, gives you mode 6 data as well as IM emission readiness, freeze frame data, 02 sensor tests, REAL DATA and more. This scanner is very reliable for the money. You will not regret the purchase. A small note, this seller is outstanding. I have bought several products from them with no problems. My next purchase will be launch diagun or launch x431 pro. These guys are great and I always feel safe with them.
