great product. I don't find anything shallow in his answer, but I love his clarity and what I can do with what he picks up! Perfect microphone for $. who knows, it might actually sound like you're at 10 feet! As a mix for live recordings, I record the sound at home with this microphone and put the deck signal on top; With the right EQ on this mic, you'll get a great, rich, clean mix. Without an equalizer, the sound sounds like a lamp. Review update: In hindsight I think the mic has a perfectly flat frequency response and sounded really different at 10ft in our room where I had the mic. I like the mic, it's very directional meaning you can point it to avoid feedback and you can choose what you record with it. Great microphone for the money.
