Review on 🕒 Hardline Products HR-8061-2 Hour Meter/Tachometer for Twin-Cylinder Engines, Black by David Lamfers

I had one of these hour meter/tachometers on my Echo PB-770T backpack in 2013 when I bought the blower new and it was still working great when I sold this compressor month after 7 years of service in November 2020. I like that these devices show hours and revolutions per minute. They seem very durable and mine have held up well. It should be noted that the battery powering this device is sealed inside the device and cannot be replaced. The manufacturer states a battery life of around 10 years before it runs out and you have to replace the device with a new one. Happy with my first HARdline hour meter I bought another one in November 2020 for the new Echo PB-8010 T backpack blower I bought to replace my old one. After receiving this hardline hour meter, I installed it on a new fan. Upon unpacking, I noticed that this hour meter is OVER TWO YEARS old! There is a production date printed on the back of these devices, indicating that the device I received in November 2020 was actually manufactured on October 10th, 2018! That means the battery is already two years old and I'm losing two years of life because it's a sealed device. A company or seller should not be selling such old stock and I am very dissatisfied with that fact!
