Review on 💻 LG 24MD4KL B Ultrafine Monitor with Built-in Speakers and 4K IPS Display by Matt Mania

What impressed me about this product is 1) the picture quality and 2) the ability to use a single USB-C cable (included) to connect and power my MPB as a secondary monitor. Smooth. However, I'm having trouble with a monitor that frequently changes brightness for no apparent reason. For example, during the day with constant ambient light, the monitor will dim too dark and then brighten again in cycles of about 6 seconds. Really annoying. It happens randomly every day or two. You might think it's my settings, but it's not. The Auto Brightness option is disabled. I called LG support and the tech was stumped and said he would call me back later in the day. A week has passed and I still have not received a reply. I want a refund but the return period has passed :(
