After a very frustrating experience with a 21:9 monitor that had dead pixels and a blurry image, I decided to go the 4K route. I find this monitor to be the best size for a 4K monitor, just big enough that 125% is perfect but dense enough pixels to make images crisp. Color accuracy "looks" very accurate, even compared to a more expensive IPS monitor (this IS VA). outside the screen's edges - to be expected - however, colors are very bright without being overexposed and black levels are top-notch for an LCD screen, significantly better than an IPS screen. The controls are very intuitive though, being a pre-calibrated monitor you don't want to adjust the colors just brightness, contrast and white balance. It's a joy to play on, smooth, clear and with little lag. The default free sync range is 40-61 Hz, which is very helpful in many demanding games. With the water-cooled Vega 64 GPU, there is no "flickering" and advanced sync is enabled along with the frame limiter, so most games run smoothly and smoothly. For the price range this is hands down the best 4K freesync monitor out there and LG stands for QC. Did I mention there are no dead pixels?
