Got this for my 11 year old son who is tall for his age and very thin. Based on the reviews we weren't sure whether to go for the large or the XL, but we played it safe and went for the XL. Fits exactly as expected - roomy enough to wear a sweatshirt underneath but still cut/fitted so it doesn't look baggy. It has the neat look we were aiming for, but with some room to grow. Nice color (we have grey) and decent quality. We live in California but wanted it for the cold and rainy days we were having. It works with a light jacket or sweatshirt underneath for extra warmth. Great alone on cool days when it's not too cold and humid.
