Solid metal jackets on both ends of the connectors and, important for very short cables, fully flexible without the stiffness or "springiness" often found in cheaper products. It's handy to carry in your pocket (or "EDC Kit" for my American friends) for a quick battery connection for those moments of the day when we need to help our overloaded phones. The length is perfect for plugging in a phone and placing a rechargeable phone on top of the battery pack - anyone who has attempted this with cheaper, inflexible short cords knows how excruciating this seemingly simple task can be.
