I bought the burner primarily to use as a wind proof lighter for my charcoal grill. It does a great job. I also used it to complete my first attempt at crème brûlée desserts and this is where the torch really shines. The desserts looked like they were professionally made in an expensive restaurant. The burner is easy to use, looks solid and holds a lot of butane. The performance and visual indication of the butane gas level was an important feature for me when choosing this torch. It's fairly large compared to other models, but that's to be expected with a lot of fuel. It still feels comfortable in the hand and offers good control. I definitely recommend it.
