If you're looking for a reliable way to make little flying geese, this is the tool for you. No more guessing what size fabric to cut or using math formulas. I was struggling to make 1 1/2 inch flying geese for a project and my fingers didn't like working with such a small device, especially when made one at a time. The flying geese ruler allowed me to do 4 at a time and cut them so I had a precise 1/4" seam to sew the blocks together. This method by Eleanor Burns is much easier to sew than any other method which I have used before. The kit comes with two rulers and tables for cutting fabric. You can also purchase this tool in a larger size. I haven't noticed the rulers slipping when hemming, but I would use Invisigrip instead of points to avoid distortion for accurate cutting.I bought a large ruler to make 2x4 and 4x8 flying geese.
