I've used this light sparingly, maybe 10-20 minutes on a weekday and yet it didn't even last a year! It lasted about 6 months or so. I don't know exactly when it stopped working because I didn't use it that much in the summer when it stayed lighter later. The problem I had was that the battery stopped charging. Now I've never had to charge that often before and due to minimal usage, charging only when needed (red light on) and turning off after a full charge. it was definitely not a case of overload or overuse. Unfortunately, I found that the light stopped working after the end of the support period in June. I would recommend a different light.
