I bought 10mm thick sheets to give my old, arthritic, chubby fingers something to hook onto - these foam sheets are perfect for making my own Art Foamis for my gel sheet! I had some self-adhesive art foam sheets for general art and card making and they adhered beautifully to this foam. What I like is that the self-adhesive foam grips but also allows you to take it off and reposition it in minutes before it gets stuck. forever and ever. This foam was easy to cut with sharp paper scissors for my art stamps. At first I used heavy scissors but found that they actually cut worse. I've made a few with a utility knife but also found it really unnecessary. I've used dies as well as a paper punch and scissors to create my shapes - it's so much fun and a fraction of the price of buying pre-made styrofoam art dies. I've made dozens of styrofoam stamps and have 4 left. Of course, even if I redeemed a coupon at a craft store, I wouldn't be able to get a lot at such a great price as I found here on Amazon. I highly recommend this malleable yet durable foam for your creativity!
