I would recommend wearing thinner socks. My high cotton socks under the bowl seemed to have curled up. But to each his own. ***Updated after 9 months*** I would suggest wearing slightly higher socks than ankle socks. When I wear socks, my healing always rubs and ends in an ulcer or bleeding. Now I will buy more exhibition socks.
