So I'm very light sensitive and have trouble with light at night. I have warm lights near my garden but the rest of the garden is pretty dark at night. I only ordered a 100ft string because I wasn't sure if my eyes could handle it. My eyes had a really hard time dealing with the light while hanging them up (at night so I didn't take them off when I hung them up) and it really made me think I was wrong about them. About an hour after I was done and my eyes had time to recover, I fell completely in love with her. I just ordered a 50ft skein to finish off my garden. The entire side and corner of my garden with these lights is so well lit (not too lit) that I can weed or garden at night. We had a temperature of over 100 degrees, so the day is too tiring to work outside. I was able to accomplish more last night than I did last month trying to do something during the day. I see people complaining about the neck length of this string, but I don't see that as a problem. Actually, it is estimated at the starting point. When I add the 50 foot strand I take the extra wire and run it behind the lights and staple it. This way all the lights will be evenly distributed and no one will be able to tell that they are two separate chains. This complaint is really pointless as everyone has different needs and the company cannot cater to everyone's specific needs without offering a personalized service. And if you're willing to pay money for personal service, there's sure to be someone willing to put up with it. If you buy such a product, you should consider its characteristics and adjust your plans / layouts if necessary. Nevertheless, I have only had these lights for a day and I am very satisfied. If I come across any issues I will update this review but they seem well done and I hope I am right and we will have a long and happy life together.
