They are incredibly spirited. They work for a few seconds and then "pause" the music and you have to press the play button again. I have to put my phone away, make sure it's plugged in properly, and not move the phone at all, and even then if we hit a bump or turn around, the music stops. And if you touch your phone at all, they stop again. It's pretty annoying. I liked the price, but honestly, just buy the apples if your kids don't want to play "freeze" all day.
