***I will keep updating my review as I have a car! great espresso/americano taste! If you like stronger drinks, remember that with all machines too much espresso strength will only dilute it. Only one specific washer size can be manufactured. If you like stronger settings, double the drink and use lower settings. Then when he does the "double," it comes out great. We had some milk line issues but the customer service WAS THE BEST I HAVE EVER SEEN! They made sure it worked properly again, told me what they thought was wrong and assured me they would fix everything. Cappuccinos and lattes are also excellent with this machine if you choose your preferred settings. Cleaning was great and easy! Also, don't forget to use roasted espresso beans for the best crema! This machine certainly has one of the smoothest and most pleasant touch screens of any coffee maker. I was initially skeptical about the purchase for a number of reasons. First I just bought a much more expensive machine (Saeco Xselsis) and had problems almost from the start and it stopped working after 4 months and Phillips didn't want to fix it. Which brings me to my second problem: no reviews, brand new, and half price. I know that when you see a great price, you usually think "wow". I but no, I think not? I know we have a 30 day return policy at Revain and I contacted the seller and they answered all my questions right away so I pulled the trigger. First impressions. I'm shocked! The machine looks great, has many options and settings for drinks and tastes. It also seems to have the highest temperature of any super machine. So far I cannot recommend this machine to anyone doing research, I have researched and I have the machines and so far so good. I'll give you some comparisons to other machines and you can find out if this is a deal breaker. For me there will always be cons in the machine, but you can find remedy for.1. You cannot create profiles, so you can save your individual drinks. BUT you can change and save the way you prepare the drinks. So if only 2 people use the machine, the presence of profiles is not an obstacle. Once you've had a drink you can just set up one drink before it's poured and it'll just save back to the settings you have. Note: If you have 2 people who love latte but you like your latte to be different. You can set up a one-person latte button, and they have a double latte button (so you can cook two at once). Just change the Double Latte settings to Single and you now have individual profiles. :)2. You can't change it to ounces (for us Americans), but espresso drinks are best personalized with ML. Once you know how much machine learning you like and need, it won't be a problem.3. You cannot change the order of what comes first for drinks. Personally, I think milk should always come first when it comes to milk-based beverages, but that's not an obstacle for us either.4. The milk hose looks cheap but works well. We like it because it's easy to clean. While the machine can clean the tube of milk after each use, I recommend removing it and doing a quick 10 second rinse after the machine has done the cleaning. We also have a container for the tube that we put in and out of the fridge so you don't have to put the tube in the milk carton.5. I don't like where the water tank is, it's in the back. Luckily you don't have to pull it straight up, you can just pull it out of the car. For everyday use (ours is on a counter under the cupboards) it is very difficult to maneuver the machine to get the water out when it needs to be refilled. We're thinking of drawing a line from our fridge to the machine for easier filling. Overall I am very impressed with the car. As I said, I will update my review when additional cleanings take place. After all, when you pay that kind of price for a coffee maker, you want it to last more than a few months and a few years. If you argue, pull the trigger on this machine, this seller, they were great!
