Put on my scooter TaoTao VIP 50cc. Simple addition when updating. I managed to remove the factory restrictive airbox, which was nice and made it a little louder and more noticeable on the road, which doesn't bother me. Plus a slight increase in speed. In the product description the main jet is #75, I had #78. The size of the pilot jet is #33. My old carburetor had a #81 main jet and a #33 pilot jet of the same size. Main Jet Thread Size: M4X0.70 Pilot Jet Thread Size: M6x0.75 I simply tied the hose to the frame, routed it up the frame and fitted a filter to the end of the hose just in case. For people who say it doesn't work or works worse, the air filter in this kit lets more air through. This means you will likely need to make some carburetor adjustments. The setting is affected by many factors, including altitude and outside temperature at the time of setting. There are many good forums and videos on how to do this on these engines and carburetors. Also, make sure your scooter is in good condition. Valve timing is correct, CDI is ok, coil and spark plug are ok etc. If you don't know how to check all this, take your scooter to someone who will.
