Just installed 3 dashcams in 3 different cars. Of course, every car uses 3 different types of fuses. I wish I had bought that the first time as I only bought the specific ones needed for the first two cars. What's odd is that there's no warning that it's easy to miswire it. This can be easily wired backwards and will allow you to bypass the fuse. Therefore, you need to measure the voltage at both contact points on the fuse box and check the connection of the taps with and without a fuse.
