The product actually worked as advertised and overall was worth the price and the EXTRA setup time. The only problem I have with the product is this. With the correct washers in place, I put the tile leveler in place and started tightening the clamp. In most cases, by holding the top straight with one hand and rotating the collar to apply pressure with the other hand, the tile will rotate as well. One way to solve this problem would be to install the levelers after all the tiles have been laid, but this would require walking across the tile to get to the beginning of the room and therefore squeezing the tiles together would render the levelers useless. The 18" x 18" tile is too large to be tilted a few rows and then laid with both hands. I had to lay a row of tiles, screw the shuttering on the open side of the purlin, then mount the levelers, unscrew the shuttering, lay a new row of tiles and then repeat the stripping process. Next time we will try the wedge system.
