DON'T UNDERSTAND: Tablet Accessory

Pros: If you can put the thing underneath without staining, it's a good product. It doesn't interfere with the touchscreen at all and feels like paper as advertised. I bet you're wondering why I got a star from me then. Cons: This is the process of putting the protector on. It's so maddening that a Mormon preacher gets drunk. First, screen cleaning wipes leave little lint all over the screen. I wiped mine with a microfiber cloth (it comes with one, but after the cleaning wipes I didn't dare. Next up is the plastic applicator and the tip has been covered with this cloth. Works well on paper, reduces scratches and is wide enough to stretch for most of the 10" screen. I was very excited about this at first, but was disappointed to find that he sheds worse than my dog after a long Alaskan winter. Add to that the fact that the screen die Screen protectors appear to rely primarily on vacuum and static force to adhere to the screen (has a very weak adhesive on the underside), resulting in a culmination of forces that results in more hair getting onto the bottom of the screen protector than onto it the top Don't ask me how only Thor himself could have known how the fibers that were placed on the protective sheet were mysteriously intertwined get stuck to the screen and the adhesive. Now I feel I need to provide my references here to establish the complexity of this application. I'm working on the l on r Geek Squad where most of the time when people buy devices and screen protectors they can pay $8 to have a tech put them on for them. I worked there full time for 2 years and probably did 8 of them overnight. One result of this is that I'm very good at applying screen protectors. Additionally, the screen protector is constantly trying to soak up the screen as you try to align it, making for the worst screen protector installation of my literal installation career. By the way, the anti-glare coating is very poor. Instead of a bright circle of light that completely covers that very specific area of the screen, you get a slightly less bright spot, but it spreads out over most of the screen. That means you go from the dot to the halfway point of the screen.
