What ultimately drew me to these headphones is that you can use one while the other is charging and switch between them as needed. This is perfect for my needs. They offer 6 hours of playback with ANC on and 8 hours with ANC off. The case can charge them, giving you a total of 24 hours with ANC on and 32 hours with ANC off. I fully charged upon receipt and had no issues with battery life. So far I'm getting 6 hours with ANC on and I haven't had to charge the case yet. The sound quality is ok (clear but not crystal clear) and the volume is more than sufficient. To be honest I didn't notice any problems until I started watching my ASMR videos. It's definitely muted and you probably won't get that nice tingle. The ANC feature cancels out our noisy fans and AC pretty well. I'm new to wireless ANC headphones so I wasn't aware of the different features you can get. What this set lacks is wireless charging and water resistance (although it is waterproof). I see other options with these features in the $40 range versus the $60 I paid. Some of them have more than 2 microphones for better noise cancellation and clearer phone calls, as well as digital battery gauges. I also prefer magnetic cases so the earbuds don't fall out and the case stays closed. I highly recommend doing thorough research before purchasing.
