I bought these leggings mainly because I saw other people wear them on their horses. They looked like they would fit a lot better than any other leggings I've bought. My horse was eaten alive by flies trying to recover from a hoof problem (so I'd prefer if he didn't stamp his feet) and then the vet said he had scratches on his feet too. These boots are a relatively stiff cone with Velcro around the horse's leg. The leggings go down just enough to cover the top of the hoof, which my other pants didn't. Basically, it looks like a long, thin bell over her foot. Flies don't slide down the bell and the greaves don't rest on or attach to the horses' legs. My horse's scrapes are healing and his hooves are getting the air they need to stay dry. I would also love to get them for my mini donkeys if I didn't think the donkeys would try to just rip them off. I have standard velcro leggings that hang down (although the ad says they don't) and the tops of her feet are open to flies. My only downside is the price. I think they could sell them for half and still make a good profit.
