I bought this because I had neck surgery and needed a neck hole in the pillow. My "old loyalty" was obsolete and I needed a new one. I'm giving it 3 stars because of the strong smell. I took it outside and even used dryer sheets to get rid of the smell. A week later I still can't sleep on it. It's gotten better, but the smell is too strong and I can't sleep on it yet. I now keep dryer sheets in a pillowcase and rub them down twice a day. I hope to sleep on it soon as it's a comfortable pillow if it didn't smell. Not sure if heat applies here as it has a cooling zone so should stay cool not hot which is why I gave it 3 stars.
