Things I really like: 1. He has over 2 helping hands! He has 6. One for the light, one for the glass, 2 for the circuit board and 2 more, probably for a mirror to admire at work? Mirror mirror on the claw who is the best solderer?2. The flashlight that comes with it is great. This flashlight alone can be sold for around $15. It has a "zoom" function to focus the light on a specific point.3. Crocodile clips ensure sufficient tightness when closed. Unlike some that leave marks on the circuit board, these are perfect.4. Well shaped arms and it looks great on the table. Suppose your desktop is monitored for cleanliness by your significant other! Things I didn't like 1. Plastic. I agree it makes the whole contraption easier, but sometimes I have to use school geometry to give it the right shape and place. I'm always afraid that I might break my arm! I guess the quality of the plastic is good (I honestly hope time will tell) things that "Ah! Quite a lot." This base. It keeps your hands steady and the hexagonal design helps. BUT if it were an inch wider it would be very stable and would fit on larger PCBs!2. The magnifying glass is small. Don't get me wrong, it's functional, but I wish it was bigger so I don't have to squint to see. Maybe it's my tired old eyes that aren't helping. Among so many helping hands, soldering stations on Revain, are they worth it? I've got about a couple weeks working time on this thing, I would definitely recommend it. For $36 there's nothing better than this. I'll post an update in a few weeks/months to see how it holds up. Note. I received NO bonuses, rebates or free items from the seller for this review. I'm not one of those lucky people who get free stuff!
