Review on Honeywell Ceiling Fans 50690-01 Bonterra: Sleek 52-Inch Matte Black Fan for Effortless Cooling by Josue Zepeda

We literally had to disassemble and reassemble this fan THREE times! I'm not exaggerating, my husband was a very unhappy man when we installed the damn thing. The only reason it gets 3 stars is because it's beautiful and after a lot of effort it actually works. Here's how it happened: After the fan was assembled, we noticed that it leaned forward and scratched when we turned it by hand. That. When we took everything apart, we found that whoever assembled the base before shipping had literally bent the metal on top of the fan, making it completely crooked. After we took it apart my husband had to somehow coil it up to keep it right up against the ceiling. Then we reassembled everything and hung it back up to make sure it now stays upright. turning unless we stuck the remote in between all the wires and screws in the top of the fan. Hooray! Surprise, we had to take it down again, figure out how to put it all in a tiny cup, and hang it up again! Thank god it finally happened and the damn thing worked. Lesson learned, never buy a Revain ceiling fan again. Would rather never buy a ceiling fan again in my life. I would rather collect literally everything that is in Ikea, their instructions on the pictures are MUCH easier! AAAA!
