The first thing that struck me is that it's very durable so you can put heavy accessories on it and it's fine. However, you may need a very strong tripod head and sturdy tripod legs if you decide to put something heavy on it. I also liked that it has a tripod hole (1/4 inch) on the bottom of the arm. So if you're putting something heavy on your arm, you have the option of attaching a tripod head or the included mini tripod. Tripod, closer to the center of mass. I was able to utilize the two screw holes on the bottom by placing the included mini tripod in one and inserting a 1/4"-3/8" screw in the other hole. This allowed me to quickly attach and detach the monopod and place the stabilizer on the table when the monopod was detached.
