The first thing that struck me is that it's very durable so you can put heavy accessories on it and it's fine. However, you may need a very strong tripod head and sturdy tripod legs if you decide to put something heavy on it. I also liked that it has a tripod hole (1/4 inch) on the bottom of the arm.
