When I first noticed the broken wheel I thought I'd replace the tiny pin holding the wheel or maybe this entire wheel. It is not relevant. The entire wheel assembly must be replaced. As another reviewer mentioned, there are two sizes of wheel assemblies. This is the biggest. I have a KitchenAid dishwasher that's about four years old and this build works for me. Try on before ordering as although they look the same only one fits. (Thanks to that reviewer for saving me the trouble.) That's a good deal for this part. $16 for four. I only needed one, but chances are I'll end up with another broken wheel at some point because they're all plastic. If you are considering this or a more expensive manufacturer part, I would categorically avoid ordering a factory part for it. , since the original is indistinguishable from this replacement. They are exactly the same, but this is much better. This is very easy to fix. You'll need a flat head screwdriver or something similar to pry off the broken off piece and the new one will pop right in. For reference, this is my first dishwasher repair. There are videos online if you need a visual reference. Do you have that.
