Review on ⌚ Samsung SM R770NZSAXAR Classic Bluetooth Smartwatch by Tom Schuster

I have been trying to use this watch for three years. The most obvious disadvantages are: 1) The heart rate monitor only records your heart rate when you are completely still. I recently went mountain biking and after a two-hour ride, I found the watch only registered a heartbeat for six minutes -- presumably when I stopped to rest. This is some kind of defeat of the heart rate monitor, IMHO? 2) Connection issues haunt the Gear S3. Sometimes the watch transmits the call, sometimes it doesn't! Sometimes you get SMS notifications, sometimes you don't! It's like a notification lottery. 3) The watch should track your sleep, but if you wear it at night, the touch wheel is always on. About ten times a night, a long press to change a watch face is activated by your cheek or one of your other attachments accidentally touching the watch face. BZZZZT! The watch will vibrate strongly and shine like a police headlight right in front of your face. It's hard to think of a less pleasant way to wake up from a deep sleep. I grind my teeth and dream of a hammer or a barrel of acid. I wish I would like the Samsung Gear S3 but I just can't.
