If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I love espresso drinks from cafes, I used to drink regular coffee, but when I quit smoking the taste changed just enough that I don't like it anymore. On the other hand, I still found Mexican mocha delicious. But they're about $5 apiece at my local coffee shop. I also didn't want to spend more than $150 on an espresso machine, they seem prone to breakage and according to reviews they never work properly. So I decided to go for it and figured I'd give it a try and if it didn't do what I wanted I would only lose about $30. He makes delicious coffee. Put some city roast in it and light it up for espresso. From my readings I understand it's not really espresso as the moka pot doesn't produce enough pressure to be a true espresso. But his role is convincing, I can't tell from an espresso what comes out of it. It has paid for itself dozens of times so far. Absolutely one of the best purchases I've ever made. I couldn't be happier. Pros - Great coffee - Cheaper than buying espresso at coffee shops - Tastes like coffee from espresso shops. to brew coffee properly - thorough cleaning takes a long time (although a quick rinse is usually enough). When in doubt, buy. You will not regret it.
