Review MEElectronics CC51P-WT

I purchased these headphones after carefully researching hundreds of $50-$100 headphones, mostly on the head-fi.org forums . I went ahead and bought them at a retail price of 49.99 to replace my aging iPod headphones. I use them on my computer at work to listen to various MP3s on streaming websites. After listening to these headphones for about a month I have to say that they are decent headphones. Compared to standard iPod headphones, I find these headphones have better highs and mids. They sound crisper and clearer, not by much but definitely noticeable. The isolation and fit I get with the included ear tips are good and they block out some ambient noise. The phones themselves look good and feel sturdy. On the other hand, the cables feel a little thin, a little thinner than the iPod headphones. This could become an issue in the future, but for now they are holding up well. I have not used a microphone and do not intend to use a microphone. I bought the CC51P-WT and not the A151 because after reading the reviews I found that the CC51 has better bass. I was looking for a good bass in headphones to play techno, rap and pop. I do feel that the bass is lacking in the CC51, it's less powerful than the bass in the iPod headphones, but the bass feels more controlled and crisp. I don't think I would buy them again because of the bass. If you don't need bass then these headphones are a good replacement for iPod phones and I would recommend them.
