Review MEElectronics CC51P-WT

I purchased these headphones after carefully researching hundreds of $50-$100 headphones, mostly on the head-fi.org forums . I went ahead and bought them at a retail price of 49.99 to replace my aging iPod headphones. I use them on my computer at work to listen to various MP3s on streaming websites. After listening to these headphones for about a month I have to say that they are decent headphones. Compared to standard iPod headphones, I find these headphones have better highs and mids. They…

Crystal clear sound, reasonable price

I worked hard before choosing these headphones. There are some in-ear phones in the $50-$100 range with plenty of Revain reviews, but almost every conversation I could find online has been very positive overall. I originally planned to spend about $20, figuring I'd have to pay that much to get a second set of about the same quality as my iPhone 4S, good for giveaways. I was a bit surprised to realize that the sky's the limit of what you can spend on in-ear headphones, but maybe I shouldn't have

Great sound but poor usability (edit)

Bought these headphones based on some head fi reviews. I was very happy with the price, especially for headphones with a microphone. The monitors themselves are amazing. The sound is excellent and balanced with a slight emphasis on the bass. The monitors are also a bit heavy, but feel incredibly sturdy. The soundstage is great. I tested the headphones with ska, j-pop, grunge, classical, hip-hop, jazz, and pop and they excelled in all categories. Cord, on the other hand, is terrible. First, the…

The A151's are excellent but they're pretty good for the price

Since I bought the Ultimate Ears TF 10 from Revain and the Sennheiser IE 80 from ebay it's just got HARDER and HARDER to write a proper review of my other IEM purchases. The above IEMs so far outperform anything in the $50-$150 range with absolutely superb sound, build and performance. As for the CC51, they offer a fairly clear sound with bass. That doesn't mean these are the best MEE headphones. I would say that this difference applies to A161 and A151. The soundstage, instrument separation…

The sound is normal, the product is worthless

I bought these headphones for three reasons. First I read that the sound quality was very good. Second, I needed some sort of soundproofing for the work. Third, I wanted to use the button/microphone on my iPhone. I've been using IEM most weekdays for over six months, but a few annoying aspects of the product finally made me move on. The sound quality was satisfactory, but not outstanding. My Klipsch S4 headphones sound better, although I couldn't get a good fit with standard earbuds back then…
