Review on Wooden Laptop Stand for MacBook Air, Pro, iPad Pro, Dell XPS, Surface, Chromebook - Walnut Finish by Michael Vargas

Very nice laptop stand. The material and assembly quality at the highest level, the dimensions correspond to reality. This is furniture grade curved plywood with a beautiful natural walnut veneer. Please ignore the condition of the box as it was ordered and shipped direct from SAMDI in China and was slightly wrinkled in transit but the contents were in excellent condition. The small chalky white spots seen around the edges in some photos look like scuffs but have completely disappeared, when I found a damp cloth to wipe them off. Also in the box (in one of the dark photos) there is a velvet fabric bag that housed a stand. However, there is a small downside, but this is mostly fixed with nested elements. I bought this to use with an HP AB100-15T Pavilion Gaming laptop and I would say the limit is the maximum (non-Apple) laptop size that this stand can safely hold. The shape of the front of the computer is tilted so much that the front edge cannot hold the laptop. When the lid is opened to a vertical position, the laptop becomes a heavy tail, rising over the front edge and sliding off. I fixed this by attaching the included 3M adhesive rubber feet to the surface the laptop is resting on. (See image.) This completely solved the problem, but needs to be considered. What I really like about this stand is its ability to stand on the end to hold the laptop upright, freeing up space for use with an external mouse, monitor, keyboard and accessories while maintaining cable management qualities. In its horizontal position, the computer floats cantilevered on the work surface, with no obstruction preventing use of the space below, and with enough lift to stow the wireless keyboard or other accessories when not in use. The laptop keyboard is at a comfortable height and angle, and the monitor is at the ideal viewing height.
