It was low. I wasn't expecting a 12" cube, but after we measured it looked more like an 11" cube. If they listed the wrong size, I'm also concerned about the 220lb weight limit. It held up to 170 pounds (younger sister sat on older sister's lap), but it was awkward because it was so short. Canvas feeling. strong smell. Can't find a plastic cap to verify if it was made in China, my daughter was so excited to see it put together. Too bad there's no handle, because it's difficult to "grab" and move it. A bit expensive for my taste.
