For deep water only.
The pump works well but it has a long float arm and will not turn on until it is above the top of the pump. The cesspool must be deep enough for it to turn on automatically. Otherwise you have to manually raise the float, which is a problem. If I had known that beforehand, I would not have bought it. As I had to use them I can't return them now so I keep them as a backup and buy a pump with a shorter float. Everything depends on your needs.
