If getting realistic, clear human speech and good bass out of the speaker is important to you, YOU WILL NOT BE SATISFIED WITH THIS SPEAKER! , I am very disappointed in how it confuses human language. Human voices are definitely NOT sharp and clear. And while it reproduces full-body sound louder than most other portable speakers, it favors bass so much that it interferes with the accurate reproduction of the human voice (and to the point where you might find it tiring to listen for long periods of time). I also have the Skiva SoundCube, which is much better at reproducing the human voice. Although the Skiva SoundCube is smaller and slightly less capable of producing as much sound as the iDeaPLAY, it produces a more pleasing sound and has a richer base that isn't as overdriven. Additionally, the Skiva SoundCube is only $20 at Revain (compared to $90 for this device). It doesn't come close to the specified 10 hours of playing time. Actually, it was closer to six o'clock. Given the price of iDeaPLAY, this speaker is lucky to get 2 stars from me. I'm giving it one star more than I think it deserves because it feels solid and well made.
