These are EXTREMELY strong magnets. I thought it odd that the box had a couple warnings on it about handling them safely, but now I get it. The moment I took the column of magnets out (all sticking together of course, but thoughtfully separated by plastic discs), a couple things on my kitchen counter immediately FLEW to the magnet column. I’m not exaggerating. I had to clear a large space and really put some effort into getting each magnet un-stuck from its siblings. After that, everything was an easy process. I bought these because my bf tends to yank the fridge door open with ridiculously excessive force, and all my magnets plus their attendant photos and artwork would go flying every single time. Not anymore. I’m confident that these magnets wouldn’t budge a centimeter if a tornado ripped the fridge from the house and flew it to a different state.
