3 gallon bags in black, white and clear. My two small paper baskets are made of white and black plastic. I put the black bag on top of the black trash can and the white bag on top of the white one. Fits perfectly. Later I will decide where to use transparent bags. Very happy with my purchase.

Terrible not least comfortable for morning use. I have used many garbage bags in my life and have never had to struggle so much to get each bag off a roll. This is the worst roll of trash bags and I don't know what they think they are so hard to get off the roll for you to actually use the bags.

They are thin so be careful when throwing sharp objects in the trash. They will not get holes or tears with regular use. I am very happy with them.

I use it in the Real Simple bin with separate compartments for waste and recycling. My apartment building requires black recycling bags and they work great and cost several times less than Real Simple's. They might not hold up if your recycling is particularly heavy - I usually have plastic, a bottle or two, and junk.
