I bought this because it was so aesthetic and also went all out and bought a matching towel rail at the same time. I installed this device first ABOVE the holes left by the existing toilet paper holder. Everything seemed solid at first and I was happy with the result. Pretty soon, the weight of the holder's side began to pull away from the wall, causing it to misalign itself to properly snap onto the opposite plank. After giving the company and the product the benefit of the doubt, I hired a handyman to try and get it installed properly. He patched the original holes, moved it to another part of the wall, and it all looked great! In fact, a week later, the exact same problem appeared. When I asked the handyman if he had any other ideas on how we could tighten it even more, he told me to buy another design. The small hex screw that goes into the support areas is not easy to attach. And for reference, the towel rail showed almost the same lift off from the wall (see last photo), just a little less noticeable. Super disappointed!
