It does the job, but the connector is a bit bulky and will likely hit the case in most cases when plugged into a graphics card. They didn't make the actual connector a bit longer to compensate for this and normally this wouldn't be a problem, but the DisplayPort is very finicky and if the cable rattles even a little bit you can (and will) experience bad artefacts and flickering. on your screen, or it just stops working, which can cause even more problems since displayport isn't known for its amazing hot-swap reliability, lol. In this case, you will most likely need to restart your computer.
