Doesn't work with Firewire cables

Screaming product but unfortunately doesn't work with my Asus monitor. Luckily I bought another one from Newegg which works great. This is a bright, beautiful product that cannot deliver. Unfortunately it ends up in the trash. This does not work at refresh rates above 60 Hz.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

This is one of the cables and connects

Having used three other brands of cable this is the only cable that can reliably display 1440p at 144Hz. So much for "norms". Others could handle 1080p at 144 with no problem, but when I tried 1440 the screen would blink and the refresh rate would randomly return. This cable was durable.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Not as good as it says it is

The time will show! to firewire cables

My previous cable started to fail for 8 years, first every few months and then weekly, so I replaced it with this one after reading maybe 1000 reviews of several cables. There are so many brands out there now that I wouldn't be surprised if they were all made in the same factory but shipped with different colors and labels. But I settled on this one, and for 4 months not a single problem running at 144Hz, 1080p from an RTX card.

Durable and easy to replace

I bought this cable because I needed a cable that could be easily unplugged and plugged in, rather than having to press a tab to unplug it like many DisplayPort cables do. It's well suited for this purpose, especially since it also has a durable case that won't buckle or wear out with regular use. I've been unplugging and plugging it back in for over a year now and it still looks brand new. The only downside is that the rectangular portion behind the connector is larger than most other DP…

It's so-so the best in the Computer Accessories & Peripherals category

It does the job, but the connector is a bit bulky and will likely hit the case in most cases when plugged into a graphics card. They didn't make the actual connector a bit longer to compensate for this and normally this wouldn't be a problem, but the DisplayPort is very finicky and if the cable rattles even a little bit you can (and will) experience bad artefacts and flickering. on your screen, or it just stops working, which can cause even more problems since displayport isn't known for its…

I'm glad I bought this

. So far so good. This is my first experience with DisplayPort. I bought this to connect my Dell desktop PC (with a freshly installed Geforce GT 1030 graphics card) to my new LG monitor, which only has HDMI and DisplayPort. I read another review that recommended buying a different cable with locks, but after installing this cable, the loose connection issue no longer bothers me. It took me some effort to insert the cable into the slot and I even heard a nice click as it snapped into place.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Design
Cons
  • Unsafe

The only downside is that the rectangular portion behind the connector is larger than most other DP cables, so it sticks
