Used Cricut to cut out color patterns and fancy cardstock, but always had problems with the paper not sticking to the mat. An even bigger challenge was stringing together small color swatches to make sure I got as many shapes as possible in one piece. With these shots I can tell exactly where I'm hitting and wasting material. It is DEFINITELY much more convenient than operating a cutting machine. And these dies keep my parts consistent so I don't have to worry about miscutting or misaligning the paper. There are few pieces of cardboard that these punches CANNOT cut through, so I made a template/template using the punch and the cardboard that came in the package and drew the shapes on the thick cardboard to cut out by hand. I also like being able to cut into three different sizes for smaller pieces. Great investment for me!
