Once assembled the cage will function as advertised. Aside from recommending a different design, which this review doesn't address, the manufacturer should be ashamed for making assembly as easy as they make it out to be. It's not like this. One trick I should have used to make the vinyl stretch more easily over the frame, but didn't, was to make sure the vinyl had been in a warm or even hot room for a day, but not in direct sunlight. An alternative would be to use a blow dryer set on LOWEST/WARM and GENTLY aerate the vinyl. In other words, don't even try to assemble this cage in a cold room. It's not going to happen! As it was, I damaged the stitching at the end of the zipper where the wraparound top cover was sewn on. Why? Because the seams have NOT been double stitched to reinforce the VERY weak part of the belt. . A heated housing could have prevented this seam rupture. This breakage also meant the zipper puller was out of the meshing teeth. Gorilla Tape fixed this to keep the zippered pieces from coming loose when using the cage. This is what happens when a good idea is marketed as easy to assemble when it is NOT, and overly obvious construction can turn the buyer away. to another similar cell. Be careful!
