Got this after my Labrador/Brittany Spaniel puppy was spayed and it was a real find! We used the plastic cone all day before deciding we needed an alternative. I was a bit concerned he might still hit his cut as he's still quite lanky and quite agile for his 54 pounds, but that wasn't a problem for us. I used a small electric pump and it inflated directly. It feels comfortable and no longer bumps into anything, although it has hit one or the other wall. He can sleep soundly and his leash is still holding very well. By the way, my dog is very good at tying cables and leashes, knows how to open doors and kennels and unbuckles his seat belt, but he couldn't get the thing off. I highly recommend it! EDIT: Just a few days later I had to plant my dog for a few hours and he managed to take it down and completely destroy it while we were away. 😭
