Designed to help people with back problems. This is the first seat cushion that seems to have helped with my back problems. It's definitely making a difference for my lower back. It's not ideal because I need extra support higher up - from mid-back to between the shoulder blades. It arrived on time and in good condition. It was relatively easy to install in my chair, but it took a few repeated attempts to get it set up properly. Expect it to occasionally move across your chair as you sit and stand. The device slips more than I would like when sitting on a chair and often goes out of alignment. I expect the tapes to last 2-3 years, after which the unit will need to be replaced. There is no way to cope with a stretched rubber band.
