I haven't had a chance to take him in the car yet, he stayed at home for several days so my baby could get used to him. Yorkie/Half Maltese and weighs about 12 pounds. The length fits him perfectly. It's not big enough to sit in, let alone stand and move around in. Definitely not a tourist kennel due to the shape of the dome. However, it's safer in the car if he can't walk. The top of the dome has been torn off and the interior is very blurry. The fuzzy interior zips open and seems to fit nicely. Overall the product is a bit stiff which is a good sign of quality. It doesn't look like it's going to fall apart at all, and to be honest it feels like it needs a bit of hacking. last a week - just glad I booked it a month before our trip. The crash test alone is worth the price in my opinion, and its construction is solid enough that I can be confident it's safe.
